About The Position

The Production Leadperson is responsible for ensuring product is running on schedule, verifying QC and HACCP checks, and managing line staffing. This role also involves training new employees and performing other related duties to support production demands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Check with the supervisor to ensure product is running on schedule.
  • Have proper equipment set up and operating properly before start up.
  • Complete all necessary reports.
  • Enter all production numbers from floor into SAP.
  • Verify QC checks throughout shift and HACCP checks.
  • Ensure the line has an adequate supply of correct packing supplies.
  • Check metal detectors.
  • Ensure the line is fully staffed.
  • Replace absent partners.
  • Train all new employees and monitor progress.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
