Production Leadperson (Thigh Debone 2nd Shift)
About The Position
This position at Pilgrim's focuses on ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. The Production Leadperson is responsible for checking with the supervisor to ensure product is running on schedule, verifying proper equipment setup and operation before startup, and completing all necessary reports. This role involves entering production numbers into SAP, verifying Quality Control and HACCP checks throughout the shift, and ensuring the line has an adequate supply of correct packing supplies. Additionally, the Production Leadperson is responsible for checking metal detectors, ensuring the line is fully staffed, replacing absent partners, and training new employees while monitoring their progress. The role also includes performing other related duties as assigned to support production demands.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer experience is required.
- Ability to physically perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Check with the supervisor to ensure product is running on schedule.

- Enter all production numbers from floor into SAP.
- Verify QC checks throughout shift and HACCP checks.

- Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
