Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
  • Ability to multi task in a dynamic, fast moving environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be a team player with a positive and professional disposition
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and squat throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Able to lift 50 pounds repetitively throughout an 8-hour shift
  • MUST be VERY detail oriented, and able to take minimal direction

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the Boeing production department including: Raw material and Finished goods inspection; Part Mark/Velcro and Kitting.
  • Responsible for maintaining 12 days of assembled kits at all times.
  • Responsible for writing reviews of Production employees.
  • Responsible for inspecting finished panels.
  • Training once a month to reduce rejects.
  • Final inspections
  • Buy off assembled kits
  • Look for defects in materials
  • Pull aluminum template and overlay on actual parts, spot check for process inspection
  • Apply velcro per template
  • Part Mark per Manufacturing work order in compliance to standard
  • Strive for two weeks ahead production schedule
  • Notify Production Manager of needs, concerns, and ordering consumables
  • Ensure employees adhere to breaks and lunches
  • Conduct Boeing Production employee reviews annually
  • Ensure all Boeing Production employees are trained in all areas of their department
  • Keep department clean and organized
  • Operate Vertical Saw and Forklift (training provided)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Directly supervises 4-7 employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
