About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a General Labor - Meat Processing associate to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks at their Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. The role involves working with raw materials, rotating through various production positions, weighing ingredients, operating processing equipment, and assisting with setup and teardown. The associate will also be responsible for completing production paperwork, maintaining records, supporting sanitation, and adhering to food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements. The position is on the 1st Shift, with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Tuesday, Thursday from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with Saturday work as needed. The starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with a potential increase after 90 days. The anticipated close date for applications is September 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures between 39°F and 44°F.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work around moving equipment and machinery.
• Work in a cold production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with raw materials as part of the Duke's Meat Snacks production process.
• Rotate through various production positions within the meat processing area.
• Weigh ingredients and prepare recipes for production.
• Operate meat grinding and processing equipment.
• Place raw products onto racks for cooking and further processing.
• Assist with equipment setup and teardown.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Support sanitation activities and help keep work areas clean.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Work overtime as needed to support business demands.
