Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma/GED.
  • Some training and/or supervisory experience desired.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a Safety Culture using JCI tools and best practices and participation in JCI programs and committees empower employees to take responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others.
  • Drive Improvements to Metrics. Monitors departmental activities and ensures requirements are met in regard to: Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Customer Service, Production Cost, and Inventory Management.
  • Works with other departments and management to determine daily work assignments to meet customer requirements. Adjusts priorities as needed to respond to customers’ needs in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement. Ability to manage time and deliver results. Able to develop unique and novel solutions to problems; use intuition and a new way of thinking to create a positive approach with opportunities for enhancement.
  • A floor Champion who coaches and builds teamwork among peers. Ability to build high morale while delivering on team commitments to established goals and objectives.
  • Flexibility. Availability to work overtime and/or move between shifts for training and/or coverage purposes to support production as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer utilizing software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and ERP systems.
  • Perform material handling, set-up, and other departmental serving duties as required.
  • Perform other assignments as directed by management.
