About The Position

Guide and train production employees and coordinate quality checks on assigned production line. This role involves demonstrated leadership abilities and responsibility for training and directing 12-40 employees. The Production Lead will assign plant operations during their shift, meet production schedules, and maintain employee and product safety. They will also monitor usages and paperwork, demonstrating a conscientious approach to production and quality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis
• MS Office Suite and SAP preferred
• Self-motivated
• Personable

• Ability to follow-up
• Ability to be punctual and outgoing
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a plant environment
• Ability to successfully multi-task
• Ability to ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and company staff
