About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety, quality, and productivity. Tyson Foods is expanding its operations in Caseyville with a significant investment to add new production lines, focusing on automation, warehousing, and robotics. The facility produces retail products for brands like Jimmy Dean and Hillshire. Requirements

High School Diploma, vocational school, or equivalent.
6 plus months of experience in food manufacturing.
Mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making, handling, and packaging equipment.
Familiar with SOPs.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum dough making experience required.
Minimum back up supervising experience required.
Requires 100% flexibility of wrists and hands.
Walking, bending, standing, and some lifting required.
Ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion.
Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with a mechanical device.
Must reside in the United States.
Must submit a resume to be considered.
Must not have four (4) or more attendance points on the date of application.
No written warnings in the past six (6) months.
No suspensions on record in the last twelve (12) months.

Responsibilities

Manage all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation, ensuring team compliance and up-to-date training.
Produce all product following production and packaging parameters to ensure quality requirements are maintained and documented.
Operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards.
Manage all GMPs, training, supervising, and documenting the team's performance.
Clean all equipment in accordance with SOPs.
Maintain control of all equipment and tools.
Follow company policies and procedures, written or verbal.
Other duties as assigned.
