About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety, quality, and productivity. Tyson Foods is expanding its operations in Caseyville with a significant investment to add new production lines, focusing on automation, warehousing, and robotics. The facility produces retail products for brands like Jimmy Dean and Hillshire. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, vocational school, or equivalent.
  • 6 plus months of experience in food manufacturing.
  • Mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making, handling, and packaging equipment.
  • Familiar with SOPs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Minimum dough making experience required.
  • Minimum back up supervising experience required.
  • Requires 100% flexibility of wrists and hands.
  • Walking, bending, standing, and some lifting required.
  • Ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion.
  • Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with a mechanical device.
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • Must submit a resume to be considered.
  • Must not have four (4) or more attendance points on the date of application.
  • No written warnings in the past six (6) months.
  • No suspensions on record in the last twelve (12) months.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation, ensuring team compliance and up-to-date training.
  • Produce all product following production and packaging parameters to ensure quality requirements are maintained and documented.
  • Operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards.
  • Manage all GMPs, training, supervising, and documenting the team's performance.
  • Clean all equipment in accordance with SOPs.
  • Maintain control of all equipment and tools.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, written or verbal.
  • Other duties as assigned.
