About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety, quality, and productivity. Tyson Foods is hiring immediately for multiple Production Lead - 2nd Shift positions. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

High School Diploma, vocational school, or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
Mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making, handling, and packaging equipment.
Familiar with SOPs.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum dough making and back-up supervising experience required.
Must reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion.

Responsibilities

Manage all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation.
Ensure team compliance with safety regulations and that training is up-to-date and documented.
Produce all product following production and packaging parameters to ensure quality requirements are maintained and documented.
Operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards.
Manage all GMPs, training, supervising, and documenting the team's performance.
Clean all equipment in accordance with SOPs.
Maintain control of all equipment and tools.
Follow company policies and procedures, written or verbal.
Other duties as assigned.
