About The Position

Guide and train production employees and coordinate quality checks on assigned production line. This role involves demonstrated leadership abilities and responsibility for training and directing 12-40 employees, assigning plant operations during the shift, and ensuring production schedules are met. The position also requires a strong focus on employee and product safety, production and quality conscientiousness, and monitoring usages and paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to follow-up
• Ability to be punctual and outgoing
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a plant environment
• Ability to successfully multi-task
• Ability to ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and company staff
• Ability to trouble shoot
