About The Position

This role involves the physical handling and inspection of countertops within a manufacturing environment. The Production Laborer Stacker 1 will collaborate with the production line to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste. Key duties include organizing the skid area, maintaining cleanliness, and operating specific equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move countertops.
• Ability to inspect countertops for various defects.
• Willingness to collaborate with the production line.
• Ability to maintain a clean work area.
• Ability to operate a Joe/forklift.
• Ability to perform 5S Checklist.
• Ability to report issues to a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and move countertops.
• Inspect countertops for defects such as delamination, cracking, bumps, blisters, mislays, and loose build-up.
• Collaborate with the Production Line to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and reduce waste.
• Organize the skid area, sweep up buttons, dispose of miter pieces, and blow designated areas.
• Operate a Joe/forklift.
• Perform 5S Checklist.
• Inform the alert line coordinator of hot tops, reruns, and bad tops.
• Report all problems to the supervisor before leaving.
