About The Position

This is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for stacking finished product, building pallets, and supporting production line operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates must be able to safely perform a variety of production tasks and be available to work 2nd shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer knowledge - data entry
• Must be able to safely perform a variety of production tasks
• Must be available to work 2nd shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be able to walk throughout the plant, including walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is required
• Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell, and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal, and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Stacking finished product
• Building pallets
• Supporting production line operations
• Participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams
• Learn and follow written rules and procedures
• Produce accurate documentation
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Learn various positions
• Fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies
• Adhere to and comply with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.
