About The Position

Momar, Inc. is a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturer serving customers nationwide. We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Label Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, supporting our manufacturing and packaging operations. This is a great fit if you're looking for reliable part-time hours in a hands-on production environment. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the part-time Production Label Coordinator is responsible for printing, managing, and distributing product labels to support manufacturing and packaging operations, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all safety and environmental procedures established by Momar.

Requirements

  • Proficient in reading and comprehending written and oral instructions and training materials
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data and label production
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, including email and ticketing systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environment preferred; training will be provided
  • Experience with label printing systems or software (e.g., Avery or similar) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Print product labels on correct label sizes, ensuring accurate Lot Numbers and Assembly Order Numbers for all Packaging Assemblies
  • Distribute printed labels to the Packaging Supervisor or requesting departments
  • Adjust label printing priorities based on direction from plant managers and supervisors
  • Print label requests from Customer Service via Help Desk/email and distribute to the Service Center Clerk
  • Print labels for other Production departments from Help Tickets and distribute to appropriate personnel
  • Print MRO labels when needed
  • Coordinate with Inventory Control and Lab when Lot Numbers require updates
  • Maintain a list of labels with errors and coordinate with the Label Graphic Designer to resolve issues
  • Create shipping tails using Avery software when required
  • Create Lot Number sticker sheets using Avery software when required
  • Coordinate with IT to maintain label printers, including routine cleaning and servicing
  • Coordinate with IT to schedule manufacturer servicing and utilize backup printers as needed
  • Partner with Inventory Control to maintain adequate stock of labels, ink, and related supplies
  • Monitor and reduce label and printer ink waste wherever possible
  • Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs established by the company
