At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. We’re working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.
Requirements
- 8 years of work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or medical device environment
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Technical aptitude with production equipment and machinery
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands
Responsibilities
- Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
- Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
- Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
- Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
- Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
