About The Position

Chart's Generalist position plays an important role in the manufacturing process of Chart's products. This position will be responsible for producing high quality manufactured products that are assembled and used all over the world.

Requirements

Basic math skills
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Must be able to learn how to read BOMS and drawings
Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience
Forklift experience, a plus
Familiarity with ISO procedures

Responsibilities

Pre-buff tank using handheld grinders
Final buff completed by operating machine
Pull tank off machine and roll onto pallet by hand; complete final wipe down/cleaning
Install labels onto tank and provide final inspection looking for defects
Performs manual tasks using basic hand tools, including electric and air tools
May be required to take measurements and read BOMs and drawings
Completes required documentation on all work performed
Understands and adheres to established safety and quality procedures
Maintains a clean work area and practices general acceptable housekeeping standards
Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
Performs other duties as assigned.
