About The Position

The Production General Assembler works in various jobs on the production floor and may stay at one position for an entire shift or rotate among multiple positions. The role is part of the production department and involves interacting with people from multiple departments. Work combines sitting and standing and includes electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools. The position is full-time at the Lewiston facility, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Requirements

Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be on your feet for a 10-hour shift.
Team-oriented and dependable.
Good eye/hand coordination and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work overtime with notice when necessary, including weekdays and weekends.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Ability to read and speak English.
Must be at least 16–17 years old; proof of age is required for minors under 18, and parental permission is required if under 18.
Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials weighing 0–10 pounds, up to 50% of work time.
Ability to lift 10–30 pounds to chest height, up to 5% of work time.
Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment.
Follow prescribed safety regulations.
Complete tasks designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Rotate to various workstations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
