About The Position

The Conversion Generalist I prepares, packages, and inspects cheese products in a fast-paced production environment. Associates are assigned to a department upon hire, such as dice/shred or aged, and may vacuum pack, salt, peel packaging, or tie product as required. The role includes loading cheese onto production lines, performing quality checks, monitoring automated equipment, and completing accurate production and regulatory documentation. Associates also maintain sanitation standards, ensure proper product labeling and coding, identify product or equipment issues, and support the department as needed. The schedule is 2:15 PM to 12:45 AM, Monday through Saturday, with two rotating days off. Starting pay is $22.89 per hour, with premiums of $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM and $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Three or more months of related work experience and/or training in the food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing 20–50 pounds.
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and climb.
