Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid forklift license is required
  • Prior experience in plant, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math literacy is required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit

Responsibilities

  • Driving forklift in a safe and responsible manner by being extremely careful and aware of surroundings to avoid collisions & accidents.
  • Safe and efficient movement of product and materials (Including loading and unloading trucks) when storing raw materials, loading skids of preformed bottles into the Depalletizer/Palletizer, and unloading of empty skids from storage bins.
  • Ensure that refrigerated raw materials are immediately delivered to the Cooler.
  • Ensure that the correct date coded skids are loaded onto trailers.
  • Ensure that staged loads do not block access of any kind in the warehouse.
  • Complete "circle checks" on equipment and report all defects to equipment.
  • Immediately report any damage to racking systems.
  • Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation.
  • Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items.
  • Performs daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure.
  • Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories.
  • Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns.
  • Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support and maintain all corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions.
  • Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
