About The Position
The Fremont Company, a family-owned business specializing in ketchup since 1905, is seeking a certified forklift driver for its overnight (3rd) shift. The ideal candidate will be an expert in operating forklifts and possess a strong work ethic suitable for overnight operations. This role is crucial for maintaining production flow and ensuring materials are supplied efficiently.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification — non-negotiable
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations
- The discipline to work independently through the overnight hours
- A safety-first, team-first mentality
Responsibilities
- Move product, stage materials, and keep the overnight line supplied and on schedule
- Load and unload with accuracy
- Run pre-shift equipment inspections every single night
- Keep your area clean, safe, and dialed in
- Work hand-in-hand with the production team to hit nightly targets
