About The Position
The Fremont Company, a family-owned food manufacturer with over 120 years in the business, is hiring a Production Forklift Driver at their Rockford facility. This is hands-on, keep-the-line-moving work, and they need someone who shows up ready to do it right. This role is specifically for the second shift.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification required
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
- Reliability and the ability to work independently on second shift
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and pallets throughout the production facility
- Stage and replenish materials to keep the production line on schedule
- Load and unload as needed
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and flag any issues
- Keep your area safe, clean, and organized
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet daily targets
