Production Floater / Machine Operator
About The Position
This position performs machine changeovers, cleans and prepares equipment, changes rolls and cutting blades, handles and organizes materials, and assists with extrusion and slitting operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role involves preparing production equipment for cleaning, reading production order guides to determine equipment set up, performing basic preventative maintenance on machines, keeping materials organized, assisting other operators with extrusion and slitting, troubleshooting machinery, and reading and interpreting product codes, production schedules, and operations documents. The job is based in the United States and does not offer international transfers or visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- One to three years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
