About The Position

This position performs machine changeovers, cleans and prepares equipment, changes rolls and cutting blades, handles and organizes materials, and assists with extrusion and slitting operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role is based in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and pays $21 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., with flexibility to work earlier or later when given notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• One to three years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with extrusion, slitting, roll goods, or automated packaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment for cleaning.
• Read production order guides to determine equipment setup.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines.
• Keep materials organized.
• Assist other operators with extrusion and slitting.
• Troubleshoot machinery.
• Read and interpret product codes, production schedules, and operations documents.
• Perform machine changeovers and clean and prepare equipment.
• Change rolls and cutting blades.
• Handle materials and maintain safety and quality standards.
