About The Position

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas to Amarillo, TX and work with engineers to resolve questions related to time/processes and make as revisions as required. Our engineers consistently come up with new ways of doing things to continue putting Bell at the front of aviation technology. Bell has the most advanced commercial and military aircraft in the world, and it’s because our people push each other to be their best and work creatively and tirelessly to get us there. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to work with engineering management to receive assignments. Work on a variety of projects and support build team personnel with information necessary to complete daily tasks. Use metric development and analytics tools.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 7, 2026
  • 3.0 GPA preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience in an engineering role, preferably at an engineering firm or manufacturing company, preferred.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, which creates an atmosphere for high levels critical thinking.
  • Familiarity and interest with complex processes that require mechanical knowledge, aptitude and skills. I.e.: Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling various components of the vehicle or engine.
  • A strong work ethic and drive to be successful in a busy work environment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with: Computer Aided Design, MS Windows, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that are rising junior classification during the 2026 internship.
