About The Position

OmniSource is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Employee to operate multiple types of material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner. This role involves loading containers, sorting scrap, sampling material, and assisting with inventory management. The employee will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining equipment daily. The position requires the ability to work in various weather conditions, strong communication skills, adherence to safety regulations, and reliability with flexible hours. Cross-training on various equipment types is also expected.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of scrap is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate multiple types of material handling equipment i.e. Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift, in a safe and productive manner.
Load Containers, sort scrap, sample material, any others duties as requested by Lead or supervisor.
Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily.
Assist Lead and Supervisor with identification and tracking of all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to assist with perpetual inventory goals.
Ability to cross train on various equipment types.
All other duties as requested by Lead and Supervisor.
