About The Position

The successful candidate will be accountable for all functions relating to administering customer orders and production orders. Ensure that orders are scheduled and expedited in the most effective manner possible. Maintain stock soft goods greige levels for optimal turnaround of Fast Track and other products. Order follow-up, visually locating and identifying processes where an order may be located at any given time. Tracking late and short orders. Requires close involvement on the production floor. Communicate status of orders to both internal and external customers. Other duties needed to meet department production levels.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment frequently
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Experience in scheduling & customer service
  • Excellent typing skills (30-45wpm)
  • Working experience (intermediate to advanced) with Monarch, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes or other related software
  • Ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed, including weekends
  • Willingness to work varied hours, weekends and overtime when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the carpet industry
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
