About The Position

This position is solely responsible for managing product flow from warehouse 6 into usage in the production room physically and in production module via process entry numbers. The Production Coordinator will manage product flow, ensure accurate inventory tracking, and maintain organization of raw materials. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical capability, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment.

Requirements

  • Must possess a certain amount of natural dexterity with hands.
  • Must possess proficient knowledge of operating scan gun and canopy production entries.
  • Must be able to read pallet detail reports, Raw Combo Report, Production module dashboards, WIP report, etc.
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds continuously.
  • Certification operating Powered Industrial trucks.
  • Must have basic technical skills operating equipment.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures for several hours.
  • Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required.
  • May require occasional assisted lifting of up to 70 lbs. and push or pull up to 2,000 lbs. using a pallet jack.
  • Must be able to operate stand-up forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Managing product flow from warehouse 6 into usage in the production room physically and in the production module via process entry numbers.
  • Scanning items to the proper entry codes.
  • Reversing items that are being pushed back to the cooler or warehouse.
  • Correcting any issues that occur during the day with entries and escalating any major concerns with the dashboard to the management/scheduling team.
  • Responsible for the batching, scanning of all warehouse items to production entries out of intermediate warehouse, and release of all raw materials and marination/brine ingredients into the production room for usage.
  • Ensuring that all entries on the dashboard are correct and communicating with necessary members of the supervisor team prior to leaving/end of shift.
  • Actively seeking ways to resolve reoccurring issues that might occur.
  • Notifying QA and supervisor of spilled or tipped product before any decisions are made regarding disposal or cleanup.
  • Ensuring product received match canopy numbers received.
  • Ensuring all labels of products being received are accurate: weight, date, product.
  • Managing and reporting all FIFO rotation issues observed on a daily basis to management of scheduling, warehouse, and production teams as well as implementation of control measures.
  • Notifying management of any insubordinate actions by team members regarding removing product from allocated locations or that have not been scanned for usage.
  • Maintaining organization of Raw materials and rotation and consolidation of items once moved into the production room.
