About The Position

Airtech International is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Controller to join our manufacturing team. This key role will support production planning, scheduling, and inventory coordination to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in our fast-paced environment producing high-performance composite materials and vacuum bagging products.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in production control, planning, scheduling, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management principles.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities with high attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with manufacturing software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in a high mix or custom oriented production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods; coordinate with purchasing and production teams to avoid shortages or overstock.
Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and communicate status updates to supervisors and relevant departments.
Generate reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
Assist in capacity planning and forecasting for upcoming production runs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production control processes and systems.
Collaborate with quality, engineering, and materials teams to resolve scheduling or material-related issues.
Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems and ensure data integrity.
