About The Position

The Production Controller enters and documents repair work completed by maintenance. The role supports maintenance operations by preparing and auditing work packages, handling compliance paperwork and data entry, tracking documentation, coordinating corrections, and monitoring material and tooling requirements. The position also reports daily production progress and maintains the Production Control file cabinet.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
Two years of experience in supply, production control, or data entry.
Working knowledge of Access, material logistics, Maintenance Planning, or Production Control.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
Ability to follow detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to move about the work environment; frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.

Responsibilities

Pull and audit work packages for issue, adding or removing tasks for mechanics as guided by Maintenance Planning.
Assist in issuing paperwork for compliance.
Perform necessary data entry and reporting.
Track original documentation, tally issued paperwork, ensure paperwork is properly completed, and forward it to Quality Control for auditing and processing.
Coordinate with Mechanics and Inspection to correct paperwork returned from quality assurance.
Coordinate material and tooling requirements with appropriate areas.
Track job cards and non-routines requiring materials or tooling.
Process material requirements for routine and non-routine maintenance, engineering orders, and fleet campaign directives.
Report production progress daily.
Maintain the Production Control file cabinet.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
