About The Position

At Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Engine Center, Production Control is where precision meets pace. As a Production Control specialist, you’ll be the force behind keeping production moving—ensuring critical engine parts are tracked, available, and exactly where they need to be to meet demand. In this role, you won’t just follow the process—you’ll keep it flowing. From resolving material shortages to coordinating across teams, your work directly impacts delivery, efficiency, and the engines that power flight worldwide. This is a Weekend Shift position: Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 7pm

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in warehouse or production control environment and/or materials management role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP

Responsibilities

  • Keep production moving by actively tracking aircraft engine parts across the shop floor and ensuring material is available when and where it’s needed
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve parts shortages, partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to close gaps quickly
  • Ensure parts are accurately kitted, staged, and routed to support seamless production and repair operations
  • Collaborate closely with Buyer/Planners and cross-functional partners to reconcile PBOMs and align material planning with real-time production needs
  • Act as a key connector between planning and execution—helping translate schedules into action on the floor
