About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and distributing production work orders to manufacturing teams. Key duties include ensuring alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS), verifying the completeness and accuracy of documentation, tracking work order progress, identifying and escalating production delays, and ensuring proper closure of work orders in the ERP system.

Requirements

• Experience with production control processes.
• Familiarity with Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Ability to verify and ensure completeness of documents, routings, and traveler packets.
• Skills in tracking work order progress.
• Ability to identify and escalate production bottlenecks or delays.
• Experience with ERP systems for closing work orders.

Responsibilities

• Issue and distribute production work orders to manufacturing teams.
• Ensure that all released work orders are aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and any updated changes from the Master Scheduler.
• Confirm that required documents, routings, and traveler packets are complete and correct.
• Track the progress of open work orders through each production stage.
• Validate that work orders are progressing according to schedule.
• Identify bottlenecks or delays and escalate to the Master Scheduler and Production Leads.
• Ensure that completed work orders are properly closed in the ERP system.
