About The Position
Doncasters has an exciting opportunity for a Production Control Sub-Contract Supervisor to join their team in Oxford, AL. This role is responsible for planning, priorities, administrative tasks & logistics to support overall business needs from sub-contract vendors. The supervisor will also be responsible for managing all subcontract processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced PC skills and knowledge of production control computer systems
- Experience with world class manufacturing process, and methods, Lean, Kaizen, 6s, TMP (talent management program), and other advance manufacturing methodologies, tools and concepts
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, planning, scheduling, customer service, and ERP systems
- Experience at leading production personnel staffing, reviews and goal settings
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production schedules, priorities, capacity, and delivery dates with subcontract manufacturing partners.
- Manage all subcontract processes.
- Planning, priorities, administrative tasks & logistics to support overall business needs from sub-contract vendors.
