About The Position
The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production control activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to balance production schedules, inventory, capacity, and customer demand while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience leading production control, manufacturing operations, or supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning
- Proficiency with ERP systems, production planning software, and data analysis tools
- Working knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production control strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and manufacturing performance
- Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery
- Manage and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and material availability
- Analyze production data, monitor key performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Oversee inventory planning and control to support production needs while minimizing excess inventory
- Lead, coach, and develop production control team members while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
