Requirements
- Experience in Project Management or Production Control
- Experience leading projects and/or teams
- More than 7 years working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent industry
- Familiarity with ERP Business systems and Microsoft suite applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
- Experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives
- Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- A final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
- Manages and oversee the development of the production schedule/shop load (2-3 week look ahead) for BDS Huntsville - SIWS & IAMD programs, (including re-entry of non-conforming product on NCRs, ensuring quality and workforce adherence
- Manage production control team for the Seeker factory using KPI's
- Monitor each line or sub-assembly area production plans and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production
- Work with QA and production to ensure quality parts and that all ISO standards are met in compliance with the customer
- Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures, while developing organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
