About The Position

AGL is looking for a Production Control Clerk to work in Fort Drum, NY. The Production Control Clerk must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the function. The Production Control Clerk must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years production control experience
  • GCSS-A experience
  • Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
  • GCSS-A Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance
  • Real ID
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Ability to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility
  • Basic proficiency in the English language (reading and writing)
  • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results

Responsibilities

  • Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
  • Calculates types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets.
  • Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
  • Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
  • Compiles detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
  • Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Charts production using chart, graph, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
  • Sorts and distributes work tickets or material.
  • Computes wages from employee time cards and posts wage data on records used for preparation of payroll.
  • Ensures timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
  • Maintains logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
  • Supports audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
  • Monitors equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating the transfer of equipment to the repair shop, and ensuring proper receipt once repairs are completed.
