About The Position

High Concrete is seeking Safety Sensitive Production Concrete Workers for 1st and 2nd shifts at their Springboro, Ohio location. This role involves the setup, stripping, and pouring of concrete to create panels and slabs used in the construction of parking garages, sports complexes, and office/retail buildings. The company has over 75 years of experience and is a leader in precast concrete, shaping skylines and bringing visions to life. This position offers opportunities for growth, significant overtime, and no travel.

Requirements

• Prior construction, roofing, hardscaping or similar background is required
• Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
• Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team.
• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
• Basic math & measurement skills needed as well as knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
• Ability to work Overtime

Nice To Haves

• Prior concrete and/or construction experience is helpful, but not required
• Familiarity with reading blueprints a plus!

Responsibilities

• Reviews prints with attention to detail
• Pouring Concrete
• Sets up forms using a tape measure
• Places steel in forms
• Uses the bolt cutters to cut the mesh
• Utilizes concrete saws to cut strand
• Handle oil sprayers to spray oil into forms
