About The Position

DraftKings is seeking an Assistant Producer Co-op to join its Production team. The role provides hands-on experience in production, including content creation and post-production, and involves close collaboration with Broadcast, Creative, Project Management, and other teams. The co-op will help coordinate TV projects from intake through delivery, support shoot-day execution, and assist with reviews, quality control, and delivery of commercials and animation projects.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with GSuite, such as Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity with Canon cameras or DSLRs, lighting, and audio capture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to intake new TV project requests and coordinate scheduling and resourcing.
• Maintain the master production status document, adding projects and keeping key dates, internal links, and other project information current.
• Set up each TV project’s structure and help drive it from kickoff through delivery, including temporary Slack channels, shared Google Drive folders, master script documents, Wrike links, and versioning sheets.
• Partner with Creative and Project Management teams to source props for shoots.
• Create master script documents and shoot-day meeting invitations, prepare shoot and spot orders, and gather final scripts and wardrobe selections from the Creative team.
• Cross-check Creative team schedules and prepare shoot-day orders.
• Potentially assist on set or at a local Boston-area location, including running the teleprompter, helping set up or run equipment, dressing the set, tracking timing and schedules, and communicating relevant information.
• Assist the Post-Producer in driving talent-to-camera TV commercial and 2D animation commercial edits through Creative and stakeholder reviews.
• Partner with Project Managers to meet project key dates and post work in Wrike for stakeholder reviews.
• Work with the Creative team to gather assets such as music, stock footage, logos, and legal disclaimers when needed.
• Partner with the reach team to supervise quality control and delivery, and/or transfer projects to Extreme Reach.
