About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging high purity hose assemblies using various hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and testing equipment while following instructions on pick tickets and drawings. This position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. Requirements

• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to complete precise measurements to the 32nd of an inch with a tape measure.
• Ability to read thousandths of an inch using digital calipers.
• Ability to read, add, and subtract decimals and fractions.
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Ability to complete forklift certification
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand and complete repetitive motions for long periods of time
• Previous assembly/fabrication/mechanical experience
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom high purity hose assemblies while referring to pick tickets and drawings.
• Measure, cut, crimp, and pressure test hose assemblies.
• Maintain batch records for traceability purposes in accordance with company standards.
• Clean and bag hose assemblies in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Use of company computer/ERP system to complete daily tasks.
• Perform special projects as assigned by production manager.
