About The Position

Ventek Solutions, headquartered near Charleston, South Carolina, is a newly established entity following its acquisition by Black Diamond Capital Management (BDCM) from Sonoco Corporation. Ventek operates across 9 manufacturing facilities located in the US and Mexico. Our Mission is to be the premier foam molder and integrated solutions provider in North America, serving a wide range of markets with molded foam components and protective packaging, including returnable and integrated material solutions. Ventek Solutions is recruiting for a Production Associate at our Shelbyville, KY plant. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to Ventek Solutions.

• Able to infrequently lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work in ambient temperatures.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, pack, close and stack boxes.
• Maintain a safe working environment. Safety is your #1 priority.
• Pack boxes according to work instructions.
• Removes finished parts from press; visually inspects to assure quality; move parts to designated area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report any quality defects to quality, processing team or supervisor
• Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
• Performing all duties in support of Ventek’s quality and safety policies.
