About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our team, working in a family-oriented environment with opportunities for long-term growth. This role involves operating various production equipment, handling glass products, and ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Requirements

Ability to pass a 10-panel pre-employment drug screen including cannabis.
Ability to pass a post-offer background check.
Ability to pass pre-employment agility testing.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, and walk for 12-hour shifts.
Movement of materials and various glass products within the warehouse and workstations both manually and using various Powered Industrial Equipment.
Ability to understand and program automated production equipment.

Nice To Haves

In-house training and certification of power industrial trucks, forklift, overhead cranes, and various other powered equipment.

Responsibilities

Understand run schedules and ensure proper size of glass before loading on-line.
Stage product of glass on a coating machine loading conveyor.
Unload sheets of glass from conveyor onto rack, remove glass from racks, and wrap, prepare, and tag racks for shipping.
Break out cut-to-size pieces of glass from large sheets.
Remove scrap pieces of glass from the cutting table and dispose of in designated waste receptacles.
Convey glass to the tempering furnace.
Stage pieces of glass onto the conveyor to be processed through the tempering furnace.
Measure and label glass pieces at the end of the tempering process with customer information.
Remove tempered glass pieces from the conveyor and place on racks.
Convey tempered glass to the packaging station and prepare glass for shipment.
Use of various Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs).
