About The Position

National Star Services, a nationwide facility management company with over 28 years of experience, is hiring Food Packers in Des Plaines, Illinois. In this role, you will prepare and package food products while meeting quality and safety standards. The job requires following recipes, production instructions, and menu specifications; assembling and packaging food items according to production orders; and working efficiently toward daily production goals. You will also maintain cleanliness and food safety standards and support team members to keep production operations running smoothly.

The schedule runs Monday through Sunday, with two days off each week. The supervisor provides the weekly schedule. Available shifts are 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Pay is $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements

• Provide two valid forms of identification.
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have and wear slip-resistant shoes.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be able to start working as soon as possible.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
