About The Position

Salem Wood Products, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is hiring full-time Production Associates for all shifts. This role involves performing various tasks in the processing of white oak staves for the manufacturing of white oak barrels used in the wine and spirits industry. The company seeks highly motivated and self-driven individuals. Starting pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with opportunities for hourly raises after 30 days and piece-rate or production-based pay. The available shifts are Day-Shift (6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Thursday) and Night-Shift (6:30 pm - 5:00 am, Monday - Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Keep up with fast-paced workplace and production speeds
• Follow all company safety and quality requirements
• Work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance
• Ability to work in various body positions; bending, stooping, standing, and the ability to have coordinated pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, and bilateral arm movements
