About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for various tasks on the production floor as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. This role involves actively participating in safety initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining high-quality standards. The associate will handle raw materials, work-in-process parts, and finished products, ensuring proper preparation, packaging, labeling, and recording of information. Additionally, the role may require assisting with break relief, maintaining records, and undertaking other assigned projects and tasks.

Requirements

Ability to work independently
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
High school diploma or equivalent
Represent the company in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters
Comply with occupational safety regulations
Work in shifts and overtime as required
Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors
Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance
Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always doing the right thing for our customers
Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
Unpackage and prepare raw material for use in production
Retrieve and prepare work in process parts for the next production process
Prepare finished products for inventory by assembling packaging material, labeling, taping, stacking, inspecting, and recording information
Help in the relief of breaks as needed
Maintain records and documentation
Other projects and tasks as assigned
