Production Associate - 1st Shift

About The Position

This is an entry-level position in the manufacturing area, primarily responsible for performing extrusion duties within the production department. The Production Associate helps ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery requirements while maintaining quality and cost goals, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Obtain the correct documentation for each batch.
Ensure the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
When required, obtain ingredients for mixing and weigh them according to recipe specifications.
Set up and start production machinery, checking controls for compliance with operating and safety procedures.
Notify appropriate personnel promptly about issues, problems, or concerns.
Safely and neatly process materials and package or skid them in the correct size or container according to customer specifications.
