About The Position

Seal & Design, Inc. is a family-owned company founded in Clarence, New York, with three divisions across the U.S. and Canada. The company produces gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and other products for sealing applications, serving industries including automotive, medical, military, aerospace, electronics, power generation, hydraulics, and HVAC. The Production Associate fabricates orders according to job specifications while focusing on process improvement, quality, and meeting or exceeding productivity and efficiency standards. This is a first-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The pay range is $22.00–$26.00.

Requirements

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
High school diploma.
Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment with business software.
Basic math and language skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Results-driven approach.
Ability to take initiative and challenge the status quo.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team atmosphere to deliver results.

Responsibilities

Fabricate orders according to job specifications, with attention to process improvement, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Operate machinery safely and in accordance with company policies.
Perform secondary inspections and advise the supervisor of quality shortfalls; temporarily suspend sorting until the issue is resolved.
Cross-train and assist in other departments as required.
