About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Production Associate for a food manufacturing and distribution center in Coppell, Texas. The role pays $18.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:45 PM to 10:30 PM. Employees must be available for occasional Saturday overtime. Recent food manufacturing experience, specifically packing and seasoning products, is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.

The Production Associate operates and monitors production machinery and line equipment, feeds raw materials into machinery, assembles and packages products, monitors production quality and efficiency, and performs basic quality checks. The role also involves properly storing materials and finished goods, following production and safety procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Recent food manufacturing experience is required.
• Previous food manufacturing experience packing and seasoning products is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background check; misdemeanors or felonies are not accepted.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for more than eight hours per day.
• Good physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be available for occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities
