The Production Associate sets up and operates cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products. This role involves inspecting parts for quality, performing standard work, and utilizing process control methods to complete the manufacturing process. Associates are responsible for routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, reading and interpreting process documents, following detailed procedures, and maintaining applicable records. They assist in training new associates on standard manufacturing processes, changeovers, and inspection. The Production Associate communicates production issues to the Production Team Leader and interfaces with purchasing, engineering, and customer service to meet customer expectations. The position requires willingness to work in various capacities, including molding, machine operating, assembly, potting, washing, painting, and inspecting.
