Production Associate - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Pall Corporation, a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a Production Associate for its 2nd shift operations. This role is crucial in helping customers solve their toughest challenges across various applications, advancing health, safety, and environmentally responsible technologies. The Production Associate will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY, operating on-site. The role offers an opportunity to work under the direction of supervisors or experienced personnel with minimal supervision, maintain accurate records, and collect data for engineering use.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- 1+ years of production/manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
