Custom Wire Technologies, Inc., a leader in OEM Medical Component Manufacturing with over 50 years of industry experience using the latest technology, is seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Production Associate for their 2nd shift. This role involves manufacturing products that save lives, with a strong emphasis on quality. The ideal candidate can follow directions and work with minimal supervision, demonstrating professionalism, commitment, accountability, punctuality, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to 4 hours
• Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds
• Strong detail orientation
• Good eyesight (aided or unaided) to see and work with very small components
• Understanding or ability to quickly learn basic measurements as required for production and quality-related tasks
• Professionalism and commitment to work
• Demonstrating accountability, punctuality, and teamwork in a detailed and organized fashion
• A positive and supportive attitude
• Understanding the company mission and production processes
• Ability to secure knowledge and proper use of the tools and equipment necessary to complete the job promptly

Responsibilities

• Knowing where each step of the multiple jobs you are supporting are in their manufacturing process
• Reviewing and understanding work orders, job routing information, and process instructions about each job you are running
• Observing and operating machines including making necessary minor adjustments
• Reporting major machine problems
• Setting up, running, and inspecting assemblies including final packaging and ready-for-ship processes
• Conducting, as needed, secondary operations including assembly, packaging, trimming, cutting, and/or grinding
• Examining and testing for quality and recording such things as part counts and product dimensions
