About The Position

Fairfield Processing is hiring a Production Associate to support production operations at its fiber processing facility. The role involves manufacturing and processing fiber materials and offers an opportunity to gain experience in the industry. The position is based at 88 Rose Hill Ave, Danbury, Connecticut. The schedule is a weekday day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The pay range is dependent on experience (DOE).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production, including familiarity with machinery operation and manual labor.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team on tasks such as moving materials and using machines.
• Keep work areas neat and safe by cleaning up regularly.
• Move materials carefully to avoid damage and maintain quality.
• Learn to operate machines and follow safety rules when using them.
• Learn and follow Assembly Work Instructions and Common Defect guidelines provided by management.
• Monitor materials and processes for problems and report them to supervisors.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with the team and other departments.
