Production Associate - 1st Shift (6AM - 2PM)

About The Position

Work directly on the floor alongside the roll‑forming and finalization teams, helping keep machines running, materials moving, and production flowing. Assist with coil/material changeovers, pack and move finished products, and jump in to rework or repack parts so customer orders stay accurate and on schedule. Inspect parts using visual checks or gauges, handle basic setup or troubleshooting tasks, and maintain precise counts of everything you process. Stay adaptable by helping in other production areas when needed. Always follow EHS standards and take responsibility for product quality—including stopping production if something isn’t right. Be ready to take on additional duties that help strengthen the overall performance of your team and the department.

Requirements

  • Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
  • Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Must work effectively in a team.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts and use of hands to use measuring gauges.
  • Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
