About The Position

This is a key position within our manufacturing facility which produces quality food products for our customers. In this position, you will understand the principle concept of Milling to manufacture the wheat and corn to achieve quality products and maximize yield performance. You will facilitate the mill operation to run efficient production, following safety standard and maintaining the sanitation. Perform the changeover on corn and wheat mill to product specification. Troubleshoot operational problems with the equipment. Adjust the milling equipment to set the grind. Sample the flour and corn products hourly. Identify any infestation issue and resolve the problem. Perform maintenance of milling equipment (roll changes, sieves repair, purifier deck and any reasonable breakdown) Maintain and update the master sanitation schedule. Detailed cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment. Load and unload product from the production line. Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations Inspection of packaged finished goods and ingredients. Ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system. Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality issues from occurring. Evaluating hazards, verification of measures and procedures that should be taken to achieve a safe work environment Work involves the use of equipment controls, flour system, and blender recipe system. Assist the mill tech(s) in operating the mill and feed loading and packaging. All other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Milling principles for wheat and corn.
  • Ability to operate and adjust milling equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting operational problems.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and OSHA Regulations.
  • Ability to inspect packaged finished goods and ingredients.
  • Capability to ensure food safety and quality system integrity.
  • Skills in evaluating hazards and implementing safety measures.
  • Familiarity with equipment controls, flour systems, and blender recipe systems.
  • Ability to perform maintenance on milling equipment (roll changes, sieve repair, purifier deck, etc.).
  • Experience in loading and unloading product from the production line.
